Oliver Lovrenski

Oliver Lovrenski was born in 2003. He grew up in Norway and is of Croatian origin. His debut novel When We Were Younger (Da vi var yngre) is a powerful, poetic and raw coming-of-age novel about contemporary urban life. The novel won the Norwegian Librarians Award for the book of the year and the City of Oslo Art Award. It was also shortlisted for the Tariei Vesaas Award for best debut novel, the Norwegian Radio Literary Prize and the Brage Award.
