Vjeran Juhas
Vjeran Juhas is a graphic designer from Pula who collaborates with various institutions, associations, and entrepreneurs such as the Archaeological Museum of Istria, Pula Film Festival, Tourist Board Vodnjan, Zelena Istra, Tourist Board Pula, Social Center Rojc, and the Hook&Cook Festival. He has a strong passion for comics and Japanese animation, which led him to launch the comic reading project Mrkli Mrak in Pula. He is one of the organizers of the Brtonigla Toons & Tunes Festival and teaches an elective course on Japanese animated cinematography to students of Japanese language and culture at the Faculty of Humanities in Pula.He serves as creative coordinator, screenwriter, and illustrator for the project Vodnjanske štorijice (Vodnjan Stories) — a comic brochure series of short traditional stories from the Vodnjan region. Together with his brother Vibor Juhas, he is also the author of the comic Mr. Joe. Vjeran is one of the founders of the Croatian Association of Interdisciplinary Artists (HUiU) and serves as the president of the artistic council of the HUiU gallery in Pula, within which the comic reading project Mrkli Mrak operates.
