Franka Tretinjak
Franka Tretinjak was born in Zagreb, where she graduated in Design Studies from the Faculty of Architecture. Apart from working as a graphic designer for the NJI3 studio, she is also involved in illustration, often focusing on botanical and zoological themes for various museum exhibitions (Natural History Museum in Zagreb, Boathouse on Brijuni, Požega House, an exhibition as part of the Botanical Illustration Days, Visitor Center Crna Roda — Lonjsko Polje, House of Batana in Rovinj). After completing her studies, she worked with various clients, including the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, the Croatian Designers Association, the Museum of Arts and Crafts, the Bruketa&Žinić&Grey agency, Studio Cuculić, and the Rotterdam Film Festival. She took part in numerous exhibitions, led many workshops, and contributed to significant visual identities and exhibition displays such as the Temporary Museum of Design, Day D, and the 2018/2019 season identity for the Croatian National Theatre, among others. She is a member of the Croatian Designers Association and the Croatian Community of Independent Artists. She is also engaged as a teaching assistant within the Design Studies study program at the Faculty of Architecture.
