Boro Kontić
Boro Kontić was born in Nikšić in 1955. He is the author of the radio show Primus (1979–1985), in which the Top lista nadrealista (Top list of surrealists) was created. He later became the editor-in-chief of the Youth Program on Radio Sarajevo (1987) and the editor-in-chief of the Second Program of Radio Sarajevo (1990–1992). He is one of the founders of the Sarajevo Media Center, established in April 1995, where he works as a lecturer for journalist training and at the School of Strategic Communication. He is the author and producer of several documentary films produced by the Media Center, including The Years the Lions Ate (2010), Untitled (2011), Exhibition (2012), etc. During the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he reported for Voice of America (Washington). From 2003 to 2004, he served as the president of the Independent Union of Professional Journalists of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has received numerous international awards for his documentary work in radio and television. He lives in Sarajevo.
