Božo Lasić

Božo Lasić was born in 1962 in Dubrovnik. He holds a degree in law and worked for many years at the public undertaking Libertas, initially as the Head of the Legal Department and later as the Director. After leaving Libertas, he became the Head of the Administrative Department for Municipal Affairs, Infrastructure, and Property Management in the Municipality of Konavle. He is the author, publisher, and editor of several books and numerous texts on the history of Dubrovnik and Konavle, as well as numismatics. Since 2013, he has served as Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Konavle. In the 2017 local elections, as the HDZ candidate, he was elected Mayor of the municipality by an overwhelming majority. He secured another term as Mayor in the 2021 elections. He is married and the father of three children.
