Edi Cukerić
Edi Cukerić is a music producer, publisher, and founder and president of the association Tondak. He has produced, recorded, arranged, and performed on more than 70 albums. Together with Mauricio Ferlin and Daniele Pernić, he realized the project Kantaduri, which documented audio and video material of a small number of remaining active and semi-active performers of Istrian traditional singing. He is the originator and implementer of the project 1947 – Hommage Sergiu Endrigu (1947 - Hommage to Sergio Endrigo) which involves the entire cultural scene of Pula. For this project, he won a Porin Award in the category “Various Artists.” In 2017, he launched the publishing activities of the association Tondak, which has so far published 27 music releases (CDs, LPs, digital) mostly related to Pula and Istria, as well as three literary editions. He is the initiator of the Rezidencija Pionirski dom (Pioneers’ Home Residency), which brings together local, Croatian, European, and international artists. He collaborates continuously with the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Pula to develop new interests in audiovisual arts in both production and performance. He has won five Porin Awards and the Crni mačak Award for Music Producer of the Year. He is a member of the Croatian Music Union (HGU), an associate member of the Croatian Composers’ Society (HDS), and the association Tondak is a member of the Croatian Discographic Association (HDU).
