Boran Kalčić

Boran Kalčić was born in 1968 in Pula and he lived and studied in Pula, Zagreb, and Milan. Among the countless jobs he has held, he highlights his work at the World Exhibition in Genoa, EXPO 1992, where he served as the director of the Croatian Pavilion, as well as his long-standing involvement in the Leonardo Gifted School.  He is one of the initiators and a member of the program committee of Histrokozmos, a small "fair within a fair," established during the 29th Book Fair(y) in Istria. A proud biker at heart, he is a passionate collector of books, artwork, and vintage motorcycles. He is a connoisseur of Istrian history and culture, with a deep understanding of its nuances. A devoted enthusiast, creator, and enjoyer of Istrian cuisine and wine cellars.
