Marko Pinjuh

Marko Pinjuh was born in 1984 in Slavonski Bord. Despite playing with several bands, he discovered illustration and realised it was his life calling. He published his early works in 2008 in the children’s magazine Radost, where he illustrated short stories and poems on a monthly basis. He soon started to collaborate with the children’s magazines Smib and Modra lasta, and specialised slowly in children’s literature illustration. A member of ULUPUH since 2014. Since then he has illustrated several elementary school textbooks, work sheets and educational materials, colouring books and picture books. He designed characters for animated films and also works in 2D animation himself. He enjoys working on his first comic book Leo & Finn, striving to connect his diverse interests – illustration, animation, AR and music.
