Barbara Anderlič

Barbara Anderlič, born in Ljubljana in 1984, has a degree in translation studies from Graz University. She translated Samira Kentrić’s Balkanalije and Jurij Devetak’s graphic novel Nekropola into German and also works as an interpreter and moderator. She was the recipient of the exil-DramatikerInnenpreis in 2014 and the ITI Global Playwriting Award in 2015. In 2012, Anderlič was a member of the audience jury at the Viennale film festival in Austria. Since 2020, she organises TRADUKI’s annual Balkan Film Week and collaborates on several other projects. Having lived many years abroad, she is currently based in Slovenia.
