Martina Gašparović
Martina Gašparović was born in 1998 in Pula. She completed the School of Applied Arts and Design in Pula and her undergraduate studies at the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka, in the Graphic Design module. In 2024, she graduated from the Master’s program in Illustration at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek. She participated in the international project by Assoc. Prof. Stanislav Marijanović, Kako vidim budućnost (How I See the Future), at the Knifer Gallery in Osijek in 2022. She is one of the illustrators and designers of the interactive picture book Više se ne bojim Babaroge (I’m No Longer Afraid of the Bogeyman), published in 2023 by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek and Matica hrvatska in Osijek. The text and audio recording for the book were created by students of the Master’s program in Pedagogy at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Marija Sablić, while students of the Master’s program in Illustration at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek brought the characters and scenes to life and designed the book graphically under the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ana Sladetić Šabić. In collaboration with the French Institute, she presented her Master’s project Mali priručnik sretnih biljaka (The Little Handbook of Happy Plants) in Zagreb in 2024.
