Nina Turina

Nina Turina (Rijeka, 1977) is a visual artist, graphic designer, and curator. She completed her undergraduate studies in Graphic and Interactive Communications at the University of Ljubljana, her master’s degree in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerp (BE), and a postgraduate Curatorial Studies program at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent (BE). Since 2023, she has been leading Studio Nooon, a visual communications studio where she works in graphic design, illustration, and photography. In her artistic practice, she employs various media, including photography, video, and installation. Her works have been exhibited in group shows in Croatia, Spain, and Belgium, as well as in a solo exhibition at the Alvona Gallery in Labin in 2024. She participates in organizing cultural and artistic events in Croatia and abroad. She launched the nomadic cinema project Kino oko (The Eye of Cinema) in Buje in 2024.
