Krešimir Šakić
Krešimir Šakić is a prominent Croatian manager and tourism professional, best known for his leadership roles in Šibenik-Knin County. He is the director of the Tourist Board of Šibenik-Knin County, with a focus on promoting the county in key markets, reducing the seasonality of tourism, and developing new tourist products. He previously headed Krka National Park, where he worked on developing the park’s tourism potential while preserving nature. Before that, he served as the director of the Student Center in Šibenik and as director of the company TEF d.d., where he led ecological remediation projects. As the owner of a travel agency, he was also an entrepreneur in tourism. He holds a master’s degree in organization and management and, alongside his undergraduate studies in economics, also studied journalism. In his free time, he plays bass guitar in the Zagreb–Šibenik band Lili Gee, which makes him an unconventional manager in public life.
