Olja Runjić

Olja Runjić was born in 1972 in Šibenik. She writes poetry, prose, screenplays, and dramas. She is the author of the poetry collections Ako ova usta potrošim (If I Use Up These Mouths, Gradska knjižnica Juraj Šižgorić, Šibenik, 1997), Lancunom preko glave (With a Cloth Over the Head, Buybook, Sarajevo, 2018), and Amapola (Fraktura, Zagreb, 2025), as well as the novel Auf Wiedersehen, Mustafa (Jesenski i Turk, Zagreb, 2013). She co-wrote the TV series Kazalište u kući (Theater at Home) and Komar (Mosquito), and she is the author and director of the documentary film Kabinaši (Cabin Dwellers). She is also the director and producer of the Šibenik literary festival ŠKURE. She currently lives in Vienna.
