Gorana Barišić Bačelić
Gorana Barišić Bačelić was born in 1979 in Split. She is an expert in cultural management. She graduated in art history and English language and literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zadar, and later specialized further in cultural management. Her areas of interest focus on strategic management and audience development in the cultural field. She teaches cultural heritage management at the Polytechnic of Šibenik and regularly participates in various seminars, conferences, and workshops, sharing the knowledge and experience she has gained in Šibenik. Since 2016, she has been the director of Tvrđava kulture Šibenik (Šibenik Fortress of Culture), a multidisciplinary public institution that manages the restored fortresses of Sv. Mihovil (St. Michael), Barone, and Sv. Ivan (St. John), as well as the Kuća umjetnosti Arsen (Arsen House of Arts) in Šibenik and the Hrvatski centar koralja (Croatian Coral Centre) on the island of Zlarin. Under her leadership, the activities and programs of the Fortress of Culture have been recognized at both the national and European levels and have received numerous awards.
