Katarina Benazić

The Benazić Winery, under the guidance of Katarina Benazić is a family-owned winery from Istria, with a tradition of grape growing, wine production and distillation passed down through three generations. The vineyards cover seven hectares in the area around Sveta Katarina, on the sunny slopes above the Raša River valley, where the influences of the sea and Mount Učka meet. The winery cultivates Istrian grape varieties, primarily Malvasia, Teran and Yellow Muscat, but also produces wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Gamay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Its wines include the dry Malvasia Katarina, the Teran Ana Antonija, the Cabernet Sauvignon Veronika, the semi-sweet Yellow Muscat Lucija, and the Buga sparkling wines. The premium wines Katarina and Veronika also hold a special place. By combining family tradition, professional expertise and the distinctive characteristics of Istrian terroir, Benazić creates wines that reflect the diversity and character of the region.
