Nataša Medved

Nataša Medved was born in 1976 in Rijeka. She graduated in French language and literature and German language and literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She translates literary, philosophical, and theoretical texts as well as graphic novels from German and French and works as  editor at the publishing house OceanMore. She has translated novels by Anne Weber, Christian Kracht, Marie Ndiaye, and Gauz, as well as theoretical works by Peter Bürger, Hans Belting, Nicolas Bourriaud, Siegfried Kracauer, Byung-Chul Han, and Jeannette Fischer. For her translation of the book "Mržnja" by Jeannette Fischer, the Croatian Literary Translators’ Association awarded her the "Josip Tabak" Prize for the best translation of non-fiction in 2023.
