Aleksandar Stanković
Aleksandar Stanković was born in 1970 in Bačka Topola, from where he moved to Karlovac in 1978, and then in 1985 to Zagreb, where he earned his degree from the Center for Public Administration and Judiciary and later from the Faculty of Law. He has been working at Croatian Radio-Television since 1995. He has been hosting the show Nedjeljom u 2 (“Sunday at 2”) continuously since the beginning of this century. So far, he has published three books of poetry: Jutra Pobijeđenih (“Mornings of the Defeated”), Igor Mandić na mjesecu (“Igor Mandić on the Moon”), and Uglavnom su me voljele starije gospođe (“Mostly Older Ladies Loved Me”). In addition, he is the author of the book Sto faca i Aca (“A Hundred Faces and Aca”) about the show Nedjeljom u 2, as well as the works Depra and F 32, which deal with the clinical depression diagnosed to him in 2010. He has made several documentary films for Croatian Television and five seasons of the travel series Vjetar u kosi (“Wind in the Hair”). He is married and has two children. He lives in Sveta Nedelja near Zagreb.
