Ivona Orlić
Ivona Orlić was born in 1971 in Pula. She completed elementary school in Poreč and secondary school (the “Branko Semelić” Center for Education and Vocational Training) in Pula. In 1996, she graduated in pedagogy from the Faculty of Education in Rijeka, and a year later completed studies in the Organization of Cultural Activities. She earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in ethnology/cultural anthropology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She has worked as a pedagogue and curator. Since 2021, she has been the director of the Ethnographic Museum of Istria / Museo etnografico dell'Istria. She has held group and solo photography exhibitions in Istria, as well as in Rijeka and Trieste. She is the author of ethnographic exhibitions, books, and a children’s picture book. She enjoys swimming and picking wild asparagus. She is married, has three children, and lives in Musalež.
