Who’s Full, Who’s Hungry

Who’s Full, Who’s Hungry is a new Histrokozmos programme dedicated to cookbooks, a genre found on the shelves of every home library, yet one that often flies under the radar in literary circles. Inspired by Mauricio Ferlin, Franko Lukež and Tajana Ujčić’s 2012 exhibition Ki sit ki lačan – o prehrani u Istri (Who’s Full, Who’s Hungry – On Istrian Food Culture), held at the Museum and Gallery Space Sveta srca, the programme reflects on the processes of (re)creating local and regional identities through food and drink culture in the context of socio-political change.
