Alternative Oases of Istria

The programme Alternative Oases of Istria focuses on urban culture and the creative impulses that have emerged on the Istrian peninsula, which, despite their contemporary character, remain distinctly local and inseparable from Istria’s unique identity. Through the cultures of fanzines and vinyl records, the programme will showcase the hubs of Istria’s alternative scene, from Umag, Buje and Brtonigla to Novigrad and Poreč, and from Pazin and Labin to Pula and Fažana. The audience will also have a chance to  hit the dance floor to the vinyl-spinning magic of Istria’s finest DJs.
