Brtonigla Toons&Tunes Presents

Toons&Tunes is an annual three-day festival held in early September in Brtonigla, bringing together independent comics, illustration, analogue music and creative scenes. The festival features illustration exhibitions, a vinyl fair, live performances, discussion-based and music programmes, and workshops. As part of the Book Fair(y) programme, Tunes & Toons will present a line-up featuring key record labels from Istria’s underground electronic music scene. Their representatives – Ivan Ljutić (Forbidden Dance Records), Andrej Lasić (Cosada Records) and Alen Špionjak (Vakum Records) – will talk to Nikša Dragulin about the roots and expressions of the new wave of analogue culture on the Istrian peninsula. Following the discussion, the audience will have a chance to dance along to a morning DJ set.
