Prostor urbane kulture Presents

The Prostor urbane kulture association from Fažana is a key hub for the independent cultural scene and autonomous creative expression among young people in this part of Istria. Its activities include creative and educational programmes, film production and screenings, Print Zine workshops, and Fanzinoteka, an archive of independent publications containing more than 2,000 fanzines, booklets, catalogues, prints and posters. The archive primarily focuses on contemporary production, with an emphasis on the work of visual artists and DIY processes. At the Book Fair(y), Prostor urbane kulture will be represented by association coordinator Oleg Morović, who will be joined by seven Istrian collectives – Fobija (Umag), Sfera (Buje and Brtonigla), Mora (Novigrad), Ko_laboracija (Poreč), Forma (Pazin) and Urban Sketchers (Pazin-Labin). They will discuss their creative work and the Istrian Fanzinoteka, which will exhibit works by around thirty collectives from Istria, Croatia and the wider region at the Fair.
