Author Reads an Author
On stage stand two authors, bound by a shared poetics or a theme that captivates them both. Before the audience’s eyes, the gaze of one author meets the words of another, a live dialogue unfolding between kindred minds. It is, in fact, always a meeting of trusted people who are the first to read each other’s manuscripts. And when a writer reads another writer — it is a very special kind of reading.
