Gallery Night
Gallery Night is an all-evening marathon programme that brings together literature, visual art, photography and performance, transforming Pula’s galleries into stages for the Festival. First held at the 22nd Sa(n)jam knjige u Istri in 2016, Gallery Night was launched as the central event of the newly established regional programme Ljubljana bere (Ljubljana Reads), featuring exhibitions by Metka Krašovec, Jure Eržen, Alenka Sottler and Hana Stupica. Over the years, the programme has welcomed artists from across Europe, including Max Neumann, one of the leading figures of the German art scene, Finnish art photographer Timo Viljakainen, and Italian comic artist and musician Davide Toffolo. At the 32nd Sa(n)jam knjige u Istri, marking the 10th anniversary of Ljubljana bere, Noć galerija will once again bring together some of the most prominent names in contemporary Slovenian art.
